I’m planning my first yacht trip in the Seychelles, and one thing I really want to focus on is taking amazing photos. I love capturing sunsets, marine life, and the islands themselves, but I’m not sure how to get good shots from a moving boat or deal with reflections on the water. Does anyone have tips for photography while on a yacht, especially in tropical conditions?

Even though I’m not much of a photographer, reading about taking pictures on a yacht makes me appreciate how different it is from normal travel photography. The combination of water, light, and moving scenery seems like it could produce some incredible shots — definitely inspires me to try it someday.
One thing that helped me a lot was booking a yacht that offered adventure sailing packages, premium catamaran charters, and family-friendly cruises — it gave me the space and stability I needed to set up shots without worrying about balance. When I was researching, I found seychelles charter yacht, which not only offered these options but also had advice on the best routes and times of day for photography. With the right boat and a bit of planning, it really made capturing the beauty of the islands so much easier.
